Ever wonder why the Rainbow Flag is the representation of Gay Pride? my theory is this: disclaimer this is simply a musing don’t take it seriously boys gays are attention whores. The average American also does not have enough STAKE enough EQUITY in his or her own interest due to1) misinformation by predatory power structures2) limited access to acquire the fundamental educational means to overcome such misinformation. but most importantly: 3) The sheer Ignorance and/or Indifference of Individuals to the repercussions of their actions or inactions. (I am one of these sheep) misinformation comes as a result of a status quo adherence to the socio-economic-political powers that be To put it into example: 1) you sign a phone contract without reading it because you’re told simply “This $500 iPhone is free” what you don’t realize is that in fine print, that $500 phone comes with a $50 smart phone surcharge per month for premium content (which is the point of the phone really) 2) you’re stuck on contract for 2 years, pay $1500 for that ‘smart phone bundle’ than you would have if you had you bought the phone off contract and used the full access of a non smart phone data/txt plan that would have otherwise given you equal contract rights. 3) you seriously don’t care about the difference you’re paying because, Hey! that snazzy iPhone was free! and it does all these cool things!!! and it’s WHITE! and SIRI CAN TALK TO YOU! ::think about it:: I’ll be the first to tell you I fall prey every time. And I’m more educated and intelligent than most. But also vastly more materialistic/shallow.

Audience Award competition. The movie with the top votes will win the Yahoo! Audience Award and the filmmaker will receive $5,000 to continue their creative journey as storytellers.
